Comparisons
HubSpot vs Clientify: full comparison and which to choose
Clientify is a practical Spanish CRM for small teams that sell over WhatsApp; HubSpot brings marketing, sales and service together on a CRM that grows with you. We compare them point by point.
If your team is small, sells mainly over WhatsApp and wants a simple CRM with support in Spanish, Clientify does the job and is quick to set up. If you need marketing, sales and service working from the same data, with robust integrations, AI that sees the full picture and reporting that holds up as you grow, HubSpot is the better choice for most growing companies. Here is why, criterion by criterion, without glossing over what Clientify does well.
Quick verdict: Clientify wins on fast start-up and WhatsApp for small teams. HubSpot wins on everything that comes next: data model, customer service, cross-team automation, Breeze, management reporting, integration ecosystem and partner network. If you plan to grow, starting on HubSpot saves you a migration.
What are Clientify and HubSpot?
Clientify is a Spanish CRM founded in 2017 and built for small businesses and freelancers. It is organised into three modules, Communication, Sales and Marketing, which can be bought separately or together. Its hallmark is a shared inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, email and live chat, alongside a sales pipeline, quotes, e-signature, email marketing, landing pages, forms and chatbots.
HubSpot is a customer platform built on a shared CRM, Smart CRM. On top of it sit Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, Content Hub, Data Hub and Revenue Hub (formerly Commerce Hub), with Breeze as the AI layer. Each hub comes in Starter, Professional and Enterprise editions, and you can begin with the free tools.
The typical customer differs too. Clientify shines with teams of two to ten people who are very sales-driven and very conversational. HubSpot covers everything from a start-up on the free tools to companies with several teams, countries and business units.
CRM and data model: how do they differ?
Clientify works with contacts, companies and opportunities, with custom fields and unlimited contact storage on every plan. For a straightforward sales process, that is enough and it is well executed.
HubSpot starts with contacts, companies, deals and tickets, then adds association labels (to tell the decision-maker from the end user, for instance) and, on Enterprise, custom objects. That lets you model what your company actually sells: properties, subscriptions, orders or payments. You will not notice the difference in month one, but you will when leadership asks for a report that spans three record types.
Which is better for the sales team?
For day-to-day selling, both cover the essentials: staged pipelines, activities, meetings, quotes and e-signature. Clientify adds smart lead assignment and AI-based prioritisation drawn from past sales, all designed for reps who work largely from their phones.
Sales Hub goes further for growing teams: follow-up sequences, meeting links, playbooks, call logging, team-level forecasting, a prospecting workspace and quotes linked to the product library. With multiple pipelines, team permissions and business units, each rep sees their own work and leadership sees the whole picture.
Which wins on marketing and lead generation?
Clientify includes email marketing with A/B testing, landing pages (including AI-generated ones), forms, lead scoring, WhatsApp campaigns and a social media manager. For a small business running occasional campaigns, it is a very complete package.
Marketing Hub is in a different league when marketing is a major revenue channel: behaviour-based segmentation, multi-branch nurturing, revenue attribution by campaign, ads management and content connected through Content Hub. Crucially, the contact who downloads a guide and opens three emails is the same record the rep sees in the pipeline and the support agent sees on a ticket.
- 01Ad or website visit
- 02Form or WhatsApp
- 03Nurturing and lead scoring
- 04Hand-off to sales
- 05Deal won and attributed
- 06After-sales ticket
WhatsApp and channels: Clientify’s home turf
This is a genuine strength for Clientify. It grew up close to Spanish-speaking small businesses, and its inbox with WhatsApp, multiple agents, Meta-approved templates, AI chatbots and tracking of which ad started each conversation is very well executed.
In HubSpot, WhatsApp Business connects to the conversations inbox with Marketing Hub or Service Hub Professional or Enterprise. From there, every conversation sits on the record next to emails, calls and tickets, and can be routed by rules, trigger workflows or feed a Breeze agent. It requires a higher edition, but what you get is a channel woven into the whole lifecycle.
Customer service and after-sales
Clientify focuses on communication, sales and marketing. Its shared inbox is great for quick replies, but it is not positioned as a support system with tickets, SLAs, a knowledge base and satisfaction surveys.
Service Hub is exactly that: tickets with queues and priorities, SLAs, a customer portal, a knowledge base, surveys and a Breeze customer agent that answers using the contact’s history. For businesses with recurring contracts or heavy after-sales volume, this gap matters as much as the sales one.
Automation: how far does each one go?
Clientify offers marketing and sales automations that are enough to nurture leads, assign opportunities and schedule follow-ups. HubSpot runs workflows on contacts, companies, deals, tickets and custom objects, with branches, delays, webhooks and, on higher editions, custom code actions. That is what makes it possible, for example, to create the invoice in your billing software the moment a deal is won and bring the invoice number and PDF back into HubSpot.
AI: Breeze vs Clientify’s AI
Clientify has put AI at the heart of its product: an assistant and chatbot that handle WhatsApp and pass the conversation to a rep, conversation summaries, suggested replies, lead prioritisation, and AI-generated sales proposals and landing pages. For conversational selling, it is a very practical offering.
Breeze has one big advantage: it sees the full marketing, sales and service history. Breeze Assistant works inside the CRM, and the agents cover customer service, prospecting, data, content, campaigns, nurturing and collections, plus a builder for creating your own agents. Many features consume HubSpot Credits, so it pays to plan usage.
Reporting and management visibility
Clientify includes pipeline analytics, campaign performance and custom reports, which are enough to track sales activity. HubSpot’s custom reports combine marketing, sales and service on the same database: cost per lead, conversion by channel, sales cycle by rep or retention by segment. That is what a managing director eventually asks for when they want to know which campaign generates revenue, not just leads.
Integrations and API
Clientify offers a documented API, webhooks and connectors for tools such as Holded, Shopify, WooCommerce and Zapier. It works well for common connections.
HubSpot has one of the largest marketplaces in the industry, an extensively documented API, private apps, webhooks and UI Extensions for building custom cards and screens inside the CRM. When an integration is business-critical (invoicing, payments, ERP, product), that depth makes the difference. See our HubSpot integrations page for more.

Which is easier to use?
Clientify can be learnt in a few days, and Spanish-language support is a real plus for non-technical teams. In public reviews, users praise its ease of use, although opinions on support response times are mixed.
HubSpot is known for how easily teams adopt it: a clean interface, contextual help and HubSpot Academy with free training. It has more options, so a structured implementation stops the account filling up with properties and workflows nobody understands.
Implementation and total cost of ownership
Clientify charges per seat and per module, with a free trial and unlimited contact storage. HubSpot offers free tools and per-hub editions, with seats by user type (view-only seats are free), marketing contacts that affect Marketing Hub, and an initial onboarding that HubSpot requires on higher editions. We do not publish figures because they change; check HubSpot’s official pricing and Clientify’s official pricing.
The honest comparison is total cost over two or three years: licences, integrations, admin hours and, above all, what it would cost to migrate if you pick the tool you outgrow. We apply the same reasoning in our HubSpot vs Pipedrive comparison, another CRM many small businesses outgrow.
Before
- WhatsApp chats with no support context
- Invoicing connected by hand
- Reports in spreadsheets
- Migration unavoidable as you grow
After
- One CRM for marketing, sales and service
- Invoice created when the deal is won
- Real-time management dashboards
- Upgrade editions without moving data
Support, community and partners
Clientify offers human support in Spanish, an academy, webinars and a community. HubSpot adds edition-based support, a global community, HubSpot Academy with certifications and an international network of partners who implement, integrate and build. At Vexco we are a HubSpot Diamond Solutions Partner, with consultants and developers in the same team.
Security, GDPR and EU data hosting
Clientify states that it holds ISO/IEC 27001 certification and provides a trust centre with its security policy. HubSpot lets you host your account in its EU data centre, offers a data processing agreement, consent management and, on higher editions, SSO and audit logs. In both cases, review the DPA and sub-processor list with your data protection officer.

When might Clientify make sense?
Clientify is a reasonable choice in specific scenarios:
- A small team that closes almost everything over WhatsApp and Instagram.
- A small business with no ERP or invoicing system to integrate in depth.
- A company that places a high value on Spanish-language support and wants to be live within days.
- A business with no complex after-sales and no need for cross-department reporting.
If that sounds like you and you do not expect to grow your team or processes, Clientify will serve you well. Revisit the decision in a year.
Verdict: why HubSpot wins
For most growing companies, HubSpot is the better choice. These are the concrete reasons:
- One complete platform. Marketing, sales, service and content on the same CRM, including a Service Hub that Clientify does not attempt to match.
- A data model that grows. Custom objects, associations and team permissions to represent how your business really works.
- Breeze with full context. The AI sees the customer’s entire history, not just the WhatsApp thread.
- Serious integrations. Marketplace, API, private apps and UI Extensions to connect invoicing, payments or ERP reliably.
- Trustworthy management reporting. Revenue attribution and the full funnel in real time.
- Lower total cost over time. You move up editions without migrating, backed by a partner ecosystem for every need.
How to migrate from Clientify to HubSpot
We have led Clientify to HubSpot migrations and the pattern is consistent: data moves cleanly if it is prepared, and what needs rebuilding is the automation and the way people work. Contacts map to contacts, companies to companies and opportunities to deals, keeping the source ID so records can be reconciled.
- Stages: redesign the pipeline with clear exit criteria rather than copying it.
- Custom fields: check which ones are genuinely used; often half can go. A thorough clean-up beforehand saves weeks of trouble.
- WhatsApp conversations: decide which history is imported as notes and which is archived elsewhere.
- Consent: carry over each contact’s subscription status and lawful basis.
- Automations, chatbots and forms: these are rebuilt in HubSpot, and it is the right moment to simplify them.
- Week 1Audit and clean-up
- Week 2Object and property mapping
- Week 3Test migration
- Week 4WhatsApp, forms and workflows
- Cut-over dayFinal migration and checks
