What we see in online shops

Your shop knows what people buy. Your CRM doesn’t.

The ecommerce platform stores the orders, the email tool stores the opens and the ERP stores the stock. Nobody has the full picture of the customer.

01

Campaigns without purchase data

You send the same newsletter to someone who buys every month and someone who bought once two years ago, because the CRM can’t see the orders.

Costdiscounts given to people who would have bought anyway

02

Klaviyo and HubSpot tread on each other’s toes

A customer unsubscribes in one tool and keeps getting emails from the other. Nobody knows which consent is valid.

Costunsubscribes, complaints and GDPR risk

03

Returns don’t exist for marketing

Someone who has just returned a product gets an email asking for a review or recommending the very thing they sent back.

Costcustomers who never come back

04

Wholesale and retail customers mixed up

Distributor orders arrive by email, samples are sent without being logged and nobody follows up on the first order.

CostB2B accounts that go cold

05

The physical store is a black box

Appointments in a separate diary, partial payments noted by hand and a catalogue you can only check in the ERP.

Costin-store sales you can’t measure

06

Repeat purchases rely on memory

No automations based on replenishment cycles or to win back inactive customers. Everything depends on the next campaign.

A CRM that understands orders, baskets and repeat purchases

We bring the purchase data that matters into HubSpot and build the segmentation and automation that put it to work.

  • Preferred category and brand
  • Consumer, trade or distributor customer
  • Channel: online, marketplace or physical store

  • Abandoned cart recovery
  • Repeat purchase by replenishment cycle
  • Win-back of inactive customers and review requests

  • Follow-up of recurring accounts
  • Invoicing in your ERP when the order closes

How we implement it

From scattered order data to campaigns that sell

First we connect the shop; then we switch on the automations with reliable data.

  1. Data and channel audit

We review your ecommerce platform, your email tool, your ERP and how consent is managed today.

  2. Model design

We decide which orders, products and events reach HubSpot, how they’re associated and which calculated properties you need.

  3. Shop integration

We connect Shopify or PrestaShop with retries, no duplicates and an initial load of your order history.

  4. Consent and email

We unify unsubscribes and preferences between Klaviyo and HubSpot so each customer only receives what they’ve agreed to.

  5. Automation and dashboards

Carts, repeat purchases, win-back and B2B pipelines, with reporting by channel, campaign and store.

  6. Training and optimisation

We train marketing, customer service and store teams, and review the results to fine-tune segments and flows.

FAQs

Questions about HubSpot for ecommerce

Does HubSpot work for ecommerce, or is it just for B2B?

It works for both. In ecommerce, HubSpot adds what the shop platform lacks: a single customer record with orders, emails, conversations and issues, segmentation by purchase behaviour and lifecycle automation.

How does HubSpot integrate with Shopify?

HubSpot has a native Shopify integration that syncs customers, products and orders. When you need returns, consent shared with Klaviyo, several shops or your own rules, we build a custom integration using both platforms’ APIs.

What about PrestaShop or WooCommerce?

Those too. We’ve brought PrestaShop orders into HubSpot, and with WooCommerce we follow the same method: we define what data syncs, how often and how duplicates are avoided before writing a single line of code.

HubSpot or Klaviyo for my shop’s email marketing?

You don’t always have to choose. Many shops keep Klaviyo for ecommerce flows and use HubSpot as their CRM and for B2B. What matters is that consent and unsubscribes are synced both ways.

Can I manage B2B and B2C customers in the same HubSpot?

Yes. We separate customer types with different properties and pipelines: consumers go into automated flows, while distributors go into a sales pipeline with samples, quotes and wholesale orders.

Does HubSpot work for physical stores?

Yes. For a retailer with several stores, we built a cart inside HubSpot with Holded’s catalogue and stock, partial payments, e-signature and an appointment calendar by store and professional, all with custom UI extensions.
