Comparisons
HubSpot vs Bitrix24: a full comparison and which to choose
Bitrix24 bundles CRM, tasks, chat and websites into an all-in-one workspace; HubSpot is a focused customer platform that is easy to adopt. An in-depth comparison with a clear verdict.
If you want a single affordable tool for internal chat, tasks, projects, websites and a decent CRM, or you need to host it on your own servers, Bitrix24 makes a strong case. If you want marketing, sales and service to run on a CRM your team genuinely adopts, with reliable reporting and a vast integration ecosystem, HubSpot is the better choice for most growing companies. Let us go through it criterion by criterion.
Quick verdict: Bitrix24 wins on breadth (collaboration, projects and CRM in one space), on per-organisation pricing and on the self-hosted option. HubSpot wins where growth is decided: a CRM built around the customer, easy to use, with native marketing and service, AI with full context and far less administration effort.
What are Bitrix24 and HubSpot?
Bitrix24 is an all-in-one workspace combining CRM, tasks and projects, chat and video calls, document storage, a website and online store builder, a contact centre, HR tools, e-signature and an AI assistant called CoPilot. It is offered in the cloud, with Free, Basic, Standard, Professional and Enterprise plans, and as a self-hosted edition with access to the source code.
Its typical customer is a small or mid-sized business that wants to replace several collaboration tools with one, likes a per-organisation rate and is willing to invest time in configuring it.
HubSpot is a customer platform built on a single CRM, Smart CRM, with Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, Content Hub and Data Hub, and Breeze as the AI layer. Its typical customer is a growing company that wants to attract, sell to and retain customers with data shared across departments.
The underlying difference is focus: Bitrix24 tries to cover all of a company’s internal work, with the CRM as one piece among many; HubSpot concentrates on everything that touches the customer and goes deeper there.
CRM and data model
Bitrix24 works with leads, contacts, companies, deals, quotes and invoices, and can run in simple mode, without leads, or classic mode, with lead conversion. For custom needs it offers smart processes, custom entities with their own fields, stages and automations. It is flexible, although the number of pipelines and other capabilities depend on the plan.
HubSpot starts from contacts, companies, deals, tickets, products, quotes and leads, linked by labelled associations, with custom objects on Enterprise editions. The big difference is that every hub writes to the same model, with shared properties, lists and permissions, and the default design is cleaner: fewer screens and fewer default fields to strip away.
Sales: pipelines, calling and chat-based selling
Bitrix24 offers Kanban pipelines, recurring deals, built-in telephony, WhatsApp and other channels, a sales centre for sending catalogues and taking payment in chat, e-signature and stage-based automation rules. For a company that sells over messaging and wants to get paid in the same conversation, it has some interesting features.
Sales Hub covers the sales cycle with sharper focus: pipelines with stage requirements, follow-up sequences, meetings, quotes, forecasting, playbooks, conversation intelligence on higher editions, a prospecting workspace and AI agents. And reps have everything on one clear record, without internal collaboration modules competing for their attention.
Marketing: how far does Bitrix24 go?
Bitrix24 includes CRM forms, a website and landing page builder, email, SMS and WhatsApp campaigns on certain plans, ad automation and tools to link campaigns to sales. For a small business getting started, it is a reasonable starting point without paying for another tool.
Marketing Hub goes considerably further: advanced email and automation, lead scoring, segmentation based on web behaviour, campaign management, SEO, social media, ads, content with Content Hub and multi-touch revenue attribution. If digital marketing is your growth engine, the difference in depth shows within the first quarter.
Before
- Many internal modules with a CRM inside
- Dense interface that is hard to teach
- Basic marketing inside the workspace
- Reports that need manual work
After
- Platform centred on the customer
- Consistent interface that is easy to adopt
- Marketing Hub with attribution
- Full-funnel reporting
Customer service
Bitrix24 centralises conversations through open channels (web chat, social, messaging apps), a contact centre, chatbots and telephony. For support with tickets, service levels and a knowledge base, you usually need to model it with smart processes or Market apps, because it is not the main focus.
Service Hub is designed for exactly that: tickets with pipelines and SLAs, a shared inbox, knowledge base, customer portal, satisfaction surveys and AI agents that resolve enquiries. All on the same record that sales and marketing see.
Automation
Bitrix24 has stage-based automation rules and triggers, a low-code business process designer and, on higher plans, robotic process automation. It is very powerful on paper, but reviews repeatedly mention that configuring it well takes time and that the logic can become hard to follow.
HubSpot concentrates automation in visual workflows on any object, with branches, delays, webhooks and, on Data Hub Professional or Enterprise, code actions in JavaScript or Python. It is easier to read, audit and maintain when the person administering it changes.
Artificial intelligence: Breeze versus CoPilot
CoPilot is Bitrix24’s AI assistant. It is available in chat, CRM, tasks, email and the website builder: it drafts text, summarises conversations and, in the CRM, helps with call analysis and filling in fields. Basic features are available to everyone, while others depend on the plan or carry usage limits.
Breeze includes an assistant across the platform, agents that handle customer enquiries, prospect or complete data, and company and contact enrichment. Both are advancing quickly; what makes the difference is context. Breeze works on a CRM that holds the website visits, marketing emails, deals and tickets of the same customer, which makes its output more useful for selling and serving.
Reporting and analytics
Bitrix24 includes CRM reports, sales analytics and a BI builder for pushing data to analysis tools. It works, although building custom reports across several modules takes effort. HubSpot offers a report builder that combines objects, executive dashboards, attribution and forecasting, with the full funnel from first touch to renewal.
Integrations and API
Bitrix24 has a REST API, inbound and outbound webhooks and an app marketplace, with a limited number of apps on lower plans. The self-hosted edition lets you modify the code, something few solutions offer. HubSpot has one of the largest marketplaces on the market, a thoroughly documented public API, private apps, webhooks and UI Extensions. In our integration projects we connect HubSpot with ERPs, invoicing, payments and messaging without touching the CRM core, which keeps upgrades simple.
Which is easier to use and adopt?
This is the most recurrent theme in Bitrix24 user reviews: lots of features, a dense interface, quite a few clicks for simple tasks and a noticeable learning curve. Those who master it get a lot out of it; the problem is that sales teams rarely have time to master it.
HubSpot is consistently one of the highest-rated CRMs for ease of use. The interface is consistent across hubs, HubSpot Academy offers free role-based training and day-to-day administration does not require a technical profile. When the CRM gets used without anyone chasing, the data is reliable and the reports support real decisions.
Implementation and total cost of ownership
Bitrix24 charges a flat rate per organisation depending on the plan, with a maximum number of users per plan, a limited free plan and a self-hosted edition with an annual licence. HubSpot offers free tools, Starter, Professional and Enterprise editions per hub or as a bundle, and licences by seat type; some AI features consume credits. Check the official HubSpot pricing and Bitrix24 pricing pages.
On licence alone, Bitrix24 often looks cheaper, especially with many users. But total cost includes configuration, ongoing administration, training, integrations and, above all, the cost of the team not using the CRM. If a sales team drifts back to spreadsheets because the tool feels heavy, the licence savings vanish.
Support, community and partners
Bitrix24 has a partner network and extensive documentation, and reviews of its support response times are mixed. HubSpot includes support by edition, a very active community, HubSpot Academy and a global network of certified partners. At Vexco we are a HubSpot Diamond Solutions Partner rated 4.9/5 in HubSpot’s directory, with consultants and developers working in the same team.
Security, GDPR and EU data hosting
Here Bitrix24 has a clear advantage: in the cloud, accounts in European domain zones are hosted in EU data centres, and if you need full control you can install it on your own servers. HubSpot lets you host your account in its EU data centre and provides consent tools, a cookie banner, data deletion, audit logs, two-factor authentication and SSO on higher editions. If sector regulation requires the CRM to run on your own infrastructure, Bitrix24 may fit; for everyone else, HubSpot’s EU hosting is usually sufficient.

When could Bitrix24 make sense?
- You want to replace internal chat, tasks, projects and documents with a single tool, and CRM is a secondary need.
- You have many internal users and a per-organisation rate suits you better than per-seat licences.
- Regulation or internal policy requires the system to be hosted on your own servers.
- You sell mainly over messaging and value taking payment in chat, with someone dedicated to configuring the tool.
Verdict: why HubSpot wins
- Customer focus. Everything that touches the customer lives in a CRM designed for it, not in a module inside an intranet.
- Real adoption. A clear interface means reps actually use it and the data is reliable.
- Professional marketing and service. Marketing Hub and Service Hub play in another league and share the same record.
- Breeze with full context. The AI sees web activity, emails, deals and tickets for the same customer.
- Ecosystem and total cost. More integrations, more partners and fewer admin hours over the medium term.

How to migrate from Bitrix24 to HubSpot
First, separate what is CRM from what is not. Tasks, projects, internal chat and documents need their own home (for example, your collaboration suite or a project management tool integrated with HubSpot). Then inventory the pipelines, smart processes, custom fields, automations and Market apps you use.
- 01Separate CRM from collaboration
- 02Data inventory and clean-up
- 03Mapping to objects and properties
- 04Test migration with history
- 05Cut-over, integrations and training
Data is extracted via CSV or the Bitrix24 REST API. Leads, contacts, companies and deals map to their HubSpot equivalents; smart processes to custom objects or properties; the product catalogue to the product library. Practical details that often go wrong: Bitrix24 allows several emails and phone numbers per contact, so you must decide which is primary; custom list values must match one by one; and timeline activities, calls and comments must arrive associated with the right record.
Do the data clean-up first and prepare a cut-over plan so no activity is lost during the switch. At Vexco we have migrated to HubSpot from Salesforce, Odoo and Clientify with full history, and we apply the same method to Bitrix24 in our HubSpot migration service.
